As of September 30, 2020, in 32 Dong Nai industrial
zones, there were 43 countries and territories investing in activities with a
total of 1,826 projects; in which, 1,345 foreign-invested projects with a total
investment capital of 25,911.1 million USD, implemented capital of 19,916.7
million USD and 481 domestic projects with total investment capital of 63.47
billion VND.
Particularly in the first 9 months of 2020, Dong
Nai industrial zones attracted 79 new investment projects; in which there are
56 FDI projects with a total investment capital of 250.9 million USD and 23
domestic projects with a total investment capital of 1,921.1 billion VND;
adjusted 440 FDI projects, of which 85 projects increased capital with a total
capital increase of 641.9 million USD; 03 projects of capital reduction with
total capital reduction of 12.9 million USD; adjusted 24 domestic projects, of
which 06 projects increased capital with an increase of 588.67 billion dong.
The result of attracting foreign investment in the
first 9 months of 2020 is 879.9 million USD, reaching 79.9% of the year plan
(1.1 billion USD) and reaching 66.32% over the same period in 2019 (1,326 , 69
million USD). Domestic investment attraction reached VND 2,509.8 billion,
reaching 125.5% of the year plan (VND 2,000 billion) and reached 132% over the
same period in 2019 (VND 1,889.9 billion).
