In June of 2018, Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority
co-operates with the provincial departments, industries and local authorities
to hold the biannual standard meetings for the enterprises located in the
industrial zones, to inform the current situation and to solve the difficulties
and proposals of the enterprises in business operation.
Attending the
meeting are the Representatives of the provincial departments, industries, the
local People’s Committee, the industrial zones’ police stations, the public
utility companies (electricity, water, telecommunications), the infrastructure
business companies and 332 enterprises in the provincial industrial zones.
At the meeting, Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority
provides general information about the industrial zones in the first 6 months
of 2018. Up to June 15, 2018, Dong Nai has established thirty-two industrial
zones which has been leased accounting for 5,245 ha, reaching
76 percent of the land for lease (in total 6,947 ha). Total investment
attraction currently reaches USD 879 million, reaching 88 percent of the annual
plan (USD 1 billion) and VND 858 billion, reaching 43 percent of the annual
plan (VND 2,000 billion).
Until now, forty-three countries and territories have
invested in the industrial zones with 1,616 projects in effect, of which are 1,169
FDI projects worth USD 22,587 million, reburse VND 16,950 million and 447
domestic projects worth VND 55,570 billion.
There are 61 opinions raised by
36 enterprises, focusing on such problems as social insurance, natural disaster prevention and control
funds, environmental laws and regulations as well as industrial zones
infrastructure. Almost questions are satisfactorily answered at the meeting by
the concerned authorities. Regarding other unanswered ones, Dong Nai Industrial
Zones Authority is co-operating with relevant authorities to give the
enterprises answers as soon as possible.
