On December 3, 2024, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued Document 6150/TB-BLDTBXH announcing the Lunar New Year holiday for employees. Accordingly:
1. The employer (Enterprise) will decide to choose 01 of 03 Lunar New Year holiday options as follows:
+ 01 last day of the year of Giap Thin and 04 first days of the year of At Ty or
+ 02 last days of the year of Giap Thin and 03 first days of the year of At Ty or
+ 03 last days of the year of Giap Thin and 02 first days of the year of At Ty.
2. Enterprises must notify employees of the Lunar New Year holiday plan at least 30 days before implementation.
3. If the above holidays coincide with weekly holidays, employees will be entitled to take a compensatory weekly day off on the next working day according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 111 of the Labor Code.
