Currently, every year our country must bury non-reusable packaging
wastes and plastic bags 2.5 million tons.
Accordingly, on June 9, 2019, during The
national launching ceremony against plastic waste, the Prime Minister set a
target, striving to 2025, the whole country does not use plastic bags and
disposable plastics.
In addition, to accomplish this, it is necessary to
implement other contents as follows:
- Officials, workers in the Ministry's units and the Departments
of Industry and Trade study and implement initiatives to reduce the use of
disposable plastic products;
- Develop guidance documents to limit and control plastic
waste at markets, supermarkets and trade centers;
- Encourage the development of self-decomposition
products in nature, environmentally friendly products replace plastic bags, disposable
plastic items;
- Develop and implement a Green Office model for agencies
and units, focusing on minimizing, recycling and reusing wastes;
- Encouraging businesses in the industry to sign
commitments, announcing actions against plastic waste …
