To prevent the spread of the disease to the
community, the Ministry of Health has issued Decision No. 878, along with
instructions on medical isolation in concentrated isolation facilities to
prevent and combat COVID-19.
Persons subject to isolation include:
- People who return to or have been through an
epidemic area of a country or territory that is infected with COVID-19
(according to the information of the Ministry of Health).
- Person in close contact with a confirmed case of
COVID-19 in case of exceeding the ability of the medical facility to receive.
- Other subjects under the direction of the Prime
Minister or the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 disease prevention and
depending on the specific situation of the epidemic, the Ministry of Health
continues to have further instructions.
- Time of isolation is 14 days from the date of
last contact with suspected sources of infection.
- Medical isolation at home or place of residence
may be carried out at any place of residence such as a private house;
apartment; collective housing; dormitories of schools, industrial parks and
enterprises; hotel rooms, motels, inns and guest rooms of agencies and units.
- According to the Ministry of Health, compliance
with the quarantine regulations at home and at the accommodation as well as
good implementation of the requirements on environmental sanitation, personal
hygiene in the quarantine not only helps prevent the spread. of disease to the
community but also keep the safety of family members and people around.
