On the afternoon of July 30, 2024, at Dong Nai College of High Technology, an exchange and connection event took place between 200 students of Dong Nai College of High Technology (DCoHT), Lac Hong University (LHU), Dong Nai University, Xuan Loc Hoa Binh College and 20 Japanese businesses in Dong Nai province.
Attending the event was the presence of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang - Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, representatives of member of Dong Nai Support Industry Development Promotion Coordination Group, some departments of Dong Nai Province, and the Young Business Association of Dong Nai, Mr. Ueda Masaya - Secretary General of The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City, Ikeda Senshu Bank - partner of the Coordination Group and media reporters.
The event is organized annually by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee (DPPC) through the Coordination Group, in which the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (DIZA) is a permanent member, presiding and coordinating with members of the Coordination Group, others departments of Dong Nai and associations to organize.
The program for developing human resources in the manufacturing industry is coordinated by the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI - Kansai) and the DPPC assigned to DIZA implemented with the Pacific Resource Exchange Center, LHU and DCoHT, many results have been obtained. Every year, the two schools LHU and DCoHT have trained students to understand 3S and Safety, have industrial manners and through the human resource exchange program hosted by DIZA, have connected the students and businesses together, creating a connection between the educational environment and the practice and production environment of businesses.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang shared the investment situation of Japanese businesses in Dong Nai industrial zones: Among the 44 countries and territories investing, Japan is the third country in terms of total investment capital, with 269 valid projects and a total investment capital of about 5.23 billion USD. In the first 7 months of 2024, there were 05 Japanese enterprises investing with an investment capital of about 22.7 million USD. To support Japanese businesses, eespecially SMEs in the Kansai region, in April 2013, the DPPC and METI - Kansai signed a Framework Agreement on economic cooperation and to has now re-signed 4 times, and is currently discussing to re-sign for the 5th time. Through the signings, METI - Kansai together with the DPPC actively implemented the signing contents: Development of supporting industry to create favorable conditions for Kansai region businesses to invest in Dong Nai and cooperate in training human resources to supply Dong Nai province's industry. Through cooperation between the DPPC and METI - Kansai, more than 7,000 students have been deployed and trained for the province in 3S and Safety.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang also added about activities related to training and human resource development in the manufacturing industry. We would also like to inform you that it is expected that in October, Dong Nai province will organize a survey team on 3S and Safety models in Japan to research and deploy in Dong Nai province to meet the need for practical experience of 3S and Production Safety of students, contributing to improve the quality of human resources to meet the needs of enterprises.
