June 18, 2025, The Dong Nai Support Industry Development Promotion Coordination Group (the Coordination Group), in partnership with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City (JCCH HCMC), successfully organized a human resources exchange event. The event connected students from local universities, colleges, and intermediate schools with Japanese manufacturing enterprises operating in Dong Nai province.
Attending and directing the event were Mr. Duong Minh Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee (DPPC), Mr. Nguyen Quoc An - Deputy Head of the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (DIZA), Team Leader of the Coordination Group, and representatives of Departments and Agencies.

Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Kotani Shoji, Head of the Dong Nai Group at JCCH HCMC, General Director of Vietnam NOK Co., Ltd, representatives from 23 participating companies, and nearly 300 students from four institutions: Dong Nai University, Lac Hong University (LHU), Dongnai College of High Technology, and the Intermediate School of Economy and Technology 2.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Duong Minh Dung emphasized the sustained impact of the exchange events held since 2018, which have successfully connected enterprises with talent and provided employment avenues for students and alumni. He confirmed that the DPPC, via the Coordination Group, is partnering again with LHU and the JCCH HCMC to host the "Human Resources Exchange Event between Japanese Enterprises in Dong Nai Province 2025".
Mr. Dung stressed the province's commitment to double-digit growth, underscoring the critical need for continued investment in human resource development, particularly within the manufacturing industry, is of particular interest to the provincial leadership in the coming time, as we understand that improving productivity starts with enhancing the quality of human resources Through today's conference, we hope that Japanese enterprises and the JCCH HCMC to extend their support for high-quality human resource training and development across Dong Nai, ensuring the workforce meets the needs of enterprises in the province's industrial zones. The provincial leadership highly commended the event's organization, noting the swift, timely, and meticulous execution by members of the Coordination Group and LHU, along with their effective collaboration with relevant units in implementing the planned activities.
This year's event saw an increased number of participating enterprises (23) and students (approximately 300), underscoring its growing appeal. Many enterprises expressed a desire for the event to be held more frequently, allowing students to gain a better understanding of companies and adequately prepare to meet their specific demands.

Representing Japanese enterprises, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Trang, Administration Manager and Chief Accountant of Tiger Vietnam Co., Ltd discussed the recruitment needs of Japanese companies and the challenges encountered in the hiring process. She also shared the expectations of enterprises regarding educational institutions and graduating students.
Expectations for Educational Institutions:

- Updating curricula to meet practical industry demands.
- Increasing practical and internship hours at enterprises.
- Encouraging enterprise simulation training models.
2. Career Orientation for Students:
- Organizing seminars and workshops for business interaction.
- Inviting business professionals to deliver practical specialized lectures.
- Helping students clearly understand industry demands.
3. Promoting Skill Development & Integration Mindset:
- Enhancing soft skills education.
- Supporting foreign language learning and project-based learning.
- Fostering an integrative and interdisciplinary mindset.
Expectations for Fresh Graduates:

The organizing committee also presented thank-you letters to the participating enterprises. The event concluded successfully, with the seamless coordination of the Coordination Group members and the faculty from the participating schools.
