On the morning of January 13, 2025, at Dien Hong Hall - National Assembly House, the Central Party Secretariat organized a National Conference on breakthrough development in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
The conference aims to assess the implementation of the resolutions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat on science and technology development, thoroughly grasp and deploy Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, creating a breakthrough change in awareness and implementation, contributing to the country's development into a rich and powerful country in the new era - the era of national development.
Accordingly, the tasks and solutions for implementation of the Resolution include:
- Raising awareness, making breakthroughs in innovation of thinking, determining strong political determination, resolutely leading and directing, creating new momentum, new momentum in the whole society in developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation
- Urgently and resolutely perfecting institutions; eliminating all thoughts, concepts, and barriers that are hindering development; Turning institutions into a competitive advantage in developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation
- Increasing investment and improving infrastructure for science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation
- Developing and utilizing high-quality human resources and talents to meet the requirements of developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation
- Promoting digital transformation, applying science, technology and innovation in the activities of agencies in the political system; improve the effectiveness of national governance, the effectiveness of state management in all fields, ensuring national defense and security
- Strongly promote science, technology, innovation and digital transformation activities in enterprises
- Strengthen international cooperation in the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation
