On January 15, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No.02/CD-TTg on continuing to promote domestic market development, stimulating consumption during the 2025 Lunar New Year of the Snake.
According to the Official Dispatch, the 2025 Lunar New Year is approaching, people's consumption demand is increasing, in order to promote domestic market development, stimulate consumption during the Lunar New Year as well as the first months of 2025, contributing to promoting growth, ensuring social security, stabilizing people's lives, the Prime Minister requests:
- Ministers of Ministries, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, relevant agencies, Chairperson of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities:
Proactively organize and resolutely and effectively implement the tasks and solutions assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister in the Decisions, Directives, Official Dispatches and Directives of the Prime Minister on promoting economic growth, developing the domestic market, stimulating consumption and organizing the Lunar New Year 2025.
- Chairperson of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities:
Coordinate with ministries, branches and relevant agencies to implement trade promotion programs, stimulate consumption, increase consumption of domestic products, promote domestic consumption and domestic production, continue to propagate, mobilize and encourage enterprises and goods distribution units in the province to organize the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" through organizing activities to display and promote products with Vietnamese brands, local strengths, connecting businesses with people; ...
Directing labor agencies to request units and businesses to actively take care of workers' lives, pay salaries and bonuses to workers promptly and in accordance with regulations, ensuring that all workers have Tet and continue to be attached to the business; arrange Tet holidays in accordance with regulations; fully implement policies and regimes on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance.
