On March 7, at Khang Thinh Restaurant Hall, a seminar on Logistics and Import and Export was organized by the Management Board of Dong Nai Industrial Parks, LTI Center and Bee Logistics Company. Attending were many important guests, including representatives of Dong Nai Customs Department, VCCI-HCM and logistics businesses.
The seminar focused on affirming Dong Nai's position as an import-export and logistics service center of the Southern key economic region by 2030, based on the potential of Long Thanh International Airport, deep-water seaport system, industrial parks and highway network.
Positive results of import and export: Import and export turnover of goods achieved positive results and increased sharply, in which the domestic enterprise sector had a higher growth rate than the foreign-invested sector. The main reason is the recovery of market demand and the increase in imports of raw materials for production. Administrative procedure reform and logistics service development (2024): The Import and Export Department has made a positive contribution to reforming administrative procedures, facilitating trade and developing logistics services. The issuance of electronic Certificates of Origin (C/O) is implemented, effectively reducing costs and time for businesses. Green channel and red channel in C/O level: Enterprises that comply with the standard will be classified as "green channel" to reduce processing time, otherwise violations will lead to "red channel" with strict inspection. This orientation supports risk management and ensures transparency of the origin of goods. Export target in 2025: The Ministry of Industry and Trade sets an export growth target of 12% in 2025 compared to 2024, with a focus on taking advantage of FTAs, propagating rules and opportunities of origin and supporting market information for businesses.
The seminar provided an overview of the import and export situation, the importance of administrative procedure reform and solutions to promote the development of logistics services in Dong Nai. To achieve the export growth target in 2025, it is necessary to closely coordinate between ministries, sectors and localities and the active participation of businesses.
