On March 28, 2025, the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province organized a meeting with foreign-invested enterprises in the province in 2025 (according to Plan No. 29/KH-UBND dated January 22, 2025).
The meeting was attended by Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province; Mr. Duong Minh Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Cao Van Quang - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, and more than 400 guests, including representatives from departments, branches, People's Committees of districts and cities, and enterprises in industrial zones across the province.
In his opening speech, the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province congratulated all enterprises on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and emphasized that the meeting aimed to create an opportunity for exchanging information, listening to opinions, contributing ideas, and solving problems to help enterprises operate more effectively and successfully in Dong Nai Province. The foreign-invested enterprise community is an important part and has made a significant contribution to the economic development of Dong Nai. So far, Dong Nai has attracted investments from 46 countries and territories with 1,704 FDI projects, totaling 35.9 billion USD. Every year, Dong Nai attracts an additional 1.5 billion USD. In 2025, along with the whole country, Dong Nai will continue to strengthen administrative reform, enhance the quality of human resources and infrastructure, and create a favorable investment environment for businesses.

At the meeting, there were 09 questions directly asked by businesses related to VAT refund for imported and exported goods on-site, transportation infrastructure, environmental permits, increasing the building density in industrial zones, dormitories for experts in industrial zones, proposals for cooperation in opening schools, etc. These were answered by the provincial leaders and relevant departments.
Additionally, at the meeting, 05 enterprises were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province for their outstanding achievements in production and business activities in 2023-2024.
In his directive speech, the Chairman of the People's Committee acknowledged and thanked the valuable contributions of the businesses, emphasizing that their input not only helps understand the situation of enterprises but also serves as an important foundation for the province to develop appropriate and effective policies and solutions to create the most favorable conditions for business development.
In the future, the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province will continue to strive to improve the investment environment, enhance competitiveness, and create the best conditions for FDI enterprises to operate effectively. It will also commit to further promoting administrative reform, creating a transparent and open investment environment; focusing on developing transportation infrastructure, industrial zones, meeting the production and business needs of enterprises; improving the quality of human resources to meet business demands; and enhancing dialogue and listening to enterprises' opinions to promptly solve difficulties and obstacles.
