Pursuant to Plan No. 16/KH-UBND dated January 14, 2025 of the Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities in response to the Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025 in the province and Document No. 2272/SNV-CSLD dated April 22, 2024 of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province.
In order to effectively implement the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and implement related contents, DIZA requests enterprises and construction contractors in Industrial Zones to immediately implement the following contents:
1. Strengthen self-inspection, assess hazards and risks and develop measures to prevent and control hazardous factors at the workplace; implement measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene in places with high risk of occupational accidents such as: factories, production workshops; construction works; mining and construction material production areas, etc.; assign and arrange people on duty to ensure timely handling when accidents or incidents causing occupational safety hazards occur.
2. For businesses and production and business establishments with working environments in confined spaces, before arranging for workers to work in confined spaces, they must develop full measures and safe working plans according to the provisions of QCVN 34:2018/BLDTBXH National technical regulations on labor safety when working in confined spaces, and provide full specialized personal protective equipment for workers.
3. Develop, post and install complete safety regulations and safe operating procedures for machinery and equipment at the workplace; develop and issue complete safety measures for construction works; provide adequate personal protective equipment for workers; improve working conditions; inspect and declare the use of machinery, equipment, materials and substances with strict requirements on labor safety; organize training courses on labor safety and hygiene for workers according to regulations. At the same time, when a serious incident occurs, it must be immediately reported to the competent authority and locality for coordination in handling.
