On July 19, the provincial Occupational Safety and Health Council (OSH) held a dialogue conference with businesses on OSH in 2024. Attending the conference were leaders of relevant agencies and units and more than 300 officials, managers, and occupational safety staff of participating enterprises.
According to the

7.4 thousand occupational accidents nationwide, killing 699 people and injuring
1,720 peopleAccording to the

compiled from reports of 1,385 enterprises in the first 6 months of 2024, in
Dong Nai province, there were 440 occupational accidents, injuring 452 people.
Number of fatal cases: 25 cases (including areas with labor relations and areas
where employees work without labor contracts) resulting in 30 deaths (6
strokes).
At the conference, businesses also shared experiences in managing occupational safety and health at the unit, raising problems in the process of implementing occupational safety and health such as: periodic health checks, health checks for employees working hard, etc hazards, the regime of employees suffering from occupational accidents on the way home from work, occupational safety training, etc. and have been answered promptly and satisfactorily by departments, departments and branches.
On this occasion, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs implemented contents such as: salary (regional minimum wage); administrative processes, procedures and instructions for installing VNeID on logging in to the provincial online service portal and the national public service on online application; guide the steps of online payment for completed documents.
