Implementing the direction of the National Traffic Safety Committee in Plan No. 415/KH-UBATGTQG dated September 26, 2023 on organizing the multiple-choice contest "Joining hands for traffic safety" in 2023, the National Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ministry of Education and Training, Department of Social Affairs (Central Committee's Publicity and Education Commission), Vehicle Insurance Fund (Vietnam Insurance Association) to organize the mentioned above contest.

The contest aims to strengthen propaganda of traffic law; improving knowledge and awareness of obeying the traffic law, regulations on compulsory insurance for vehicle owners' civil liability, especially the young generation, workers, employees; contributing to building a cultural behavior in traffic, equipping knowledge and skills to controlling vehicles safely, repairing fuel traffic congestion on the main traffic intersections, junctions and large urban areas.

Contest participants are all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners currently residing in the territory of Vietnam, aged 14 years or older at the time of taking the exam, who have the right to participate in the exam.

The contest is organized in the form of weekly multiple-choice contest on the Communist Party of Vietnam electronic newspaper, VCNet social network and electronic newspapers/magazines, websites/information portals of agencies and units that links to the contest.
