​Attending the Conference were Mr. Ho Thanh Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Cao Van Quang - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hang - Vice - Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang – Vice - Chairwoman of Provincial People's Committee and the Leader of of Dong Nai province's administrative agencies and the participation of representatives of Consulate General of Korea in Ho Chi Minh city, Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh city, EuroCham in Viet Nam, AmCham in Viet Nam, Kocham in Viet Nam, JCCH in Ho Chi Minh city, Business Association of Taiwan in Dong Nai, Business Association of Korea in Dong Nai, Business Association of Japan in Dong Nai, Infracstructure companies and more than 140 FDI enterprises in Dong Nai.

In 2023, foreign investment attraction reached about 1.23 billion USD, equal to 107% compared to the same period in 2022 (1.15 billion USD) and increased 11.5% compared to the year plan (1,100 million USD), of which: newly issued 81 new projects with total registered capital of 467.28 million USD (compared to the same period in 2022, equal to 85% of newly registered capital) and 94 projects with increased capital with a total additional capital of 761.22 million USD (compared to the same period in 2022, increased 1.14 times in additional capital). Accumulated to date, the number of valid FDI projects is 1,596 projects with a capital of 34.17 billion USD. 

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee wished that foreign-invested enterprises will continue to stick together and share to effectively implement guidelines and policies of the Party, the State's legal policies, and effective implementation of local socio-economic development tasks and goals. She hope that the Conference  will be a bridge and an important opportunity for the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Dong Nai Province to continue to listen to the thoughts, aspirations, suggestions and recommendations of the foreign-invested business community, organizations and business associations. Thereby, promptly receive and find ways to remove difficulties, direct the handling and answer problems, recommendations and suggestions of businesses.

To recognize the contributions of typical enterprises in the process of production and business activities in Dong Nai province, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee decided to award Certificates of Merit from Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee to 11 FDI enterprises with excellent achievements in production and business activities and 07 enterprises with excellent achievements in Export activities in 2022.

At the Conference, representatives of associations and businesses thanked the support of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee for businesses and also frankly discussed the difficulties and obstacles during operations such as The progress of Issuing Certificate for construction and repair works for businesses and The progress of expansion and handover of premises in some industrial parks is still slow...

Through the opinions and recommendations of FDI enterprises, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son requested the Provincial People's Committee to absorb the opinions of enterprises, direct relevant departments and branches to have solutions and quickly giving advisory to the Provincial People's Committee to remove difficulties and obstacles.

According to the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, meetings and dialogues between the government and businesses aim to create a better and more favorable investment environment for businesses. Dong Nai always determines that FDI enterprises are an important part, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.
